I wish I was in Toronto now to go visit this exhibition. These kind of events are few and too far between - An exhibition featuring the works of Caribbean people.
It is being held at the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) in celebration of the artistic talents of those of African descent. So go check it out if our in the area. For the rest of us busy dreaming of a flight to Toronoto, you can still visit ROM's website and track highlights from the show on the internet.
The painting on the left is by a self-taught Artist by the name of Nicole Alexander who hails from my parents twin nation of Trinidad and Tobago. This is the first time I've heard of her and I have to say that I love her style! Find out more about her on her website: www.nicole-alexander.com
